Sample Itinerary
Arrive in Rio de Janeiro and transfer to your 4-star hotel in Copacabana or Ipanema. Settle in, enjoy a stroll along the beach, or relax before the evening. That night, we’ll gather for a traditional Brazilian welcome dinner at a local churrascaria, getting to know your guides, hosts, and fellow travelers.
After breakfast, we’ll begin exploring the cultural roots of Rio with a guided walking tour through the “Little Africa” district. You’ll learn about Rio’s Afro-Brazilian heritage, with meaningful stops at the Afro-Brazilian Museum, Pedra do Sal, and more. After an authentic lunch, enjoy some free time to rest or explore on your own. In the evening, we’ll head out to experience Rio’s vibrant nightlife with live music at a local venue. An unforgettable way to soak up the city’s rhythm and soul.
Spend the day immersed in Rio’s Carnival culture. We’ll visit a samba workshop or backstage Carnaval factory to see how floats, costumes, and choreography come to life. In the evening, we’ll head to a live music venue curated by our local musician hosts—featuring samba-funk, choro, or samba jazz.
Today we’ll join a local bloco, one of the thousands of vibrant street parties that make Carnival such a unique and unforgettable celebration. The afternoon is yours to relax, explore the city, or enjoy the beach. We’ll provide a few optional suggestions, and you’ll have the evening free.
Enjoy a relaxed morning and afternoon at your leisure. In the evening, we’ll head together to the Sambadrome, where you’ll experience the grandeur of Carnival from the included grandstand seats. VIP lounge upgrade available upon request.
After a thrilling night at the Sambadrome, sleep in. Enjoy a final breakfast and hotel checkout before your airport transfer. We’ll be happy to help you extend your stay in Rio or travel elsewhere in Brazil.
