Oktoberfest: The Bavarian Brass Tradition
Oktoberfest is a massive folk gathering, but at its center, it is a showcase for the Blaskapelle (brass band). While many areas cater to international pop, we focus on the traditional and historical sections of the event.
- Curated Experience: We secure reserved tables in traditional tents (such as Festzelt Tradition) where the focus is on the Schuhplattler (percussive dance) and unamplified brass music. We provide expert hosts to explain the specific “Prost” rituals and the social history of the Bavarian Trachten (attire).
