Fantastic trip
We traveled to Brazil with Chaz and Musical Getaways in December 2024. It was an incredible trip and exceeded our expectations. We had a range of musical experiences, and visited important local sites.
The local guides Musical Getways has relationships with were extremely knowledgeable and delightful company. The trip was well organized, with attention to every detail. We had never been to Brazil, and know only a smidgen of the language, but Musical Getaways took care of us. We had a small group, and had a bit of flexibility to stay longer at certain sites when we wanted to. The hotels we stayed at had great locations, great staff, and every amenity. A carefully curated musical journey
Musical Getaways organises tours (as the name implies) for individuals or groups with a specific interest in exploring the musical traditions of the respective countries it visits.
As the tour was a solo trip, MG was able to use an existing template for a prior Brazil trip but modify it to include additions to the itinerary. My trip to Brazil coincided with Caetano Veloso’s concert in Rio which MG was able to secure tickets for.
MG works closely with musicians in Rio and Salvador who are also very good guides on the ground.
I would wholeheartedly recommend MG to put together a bespoke experience for your musical travel needs.
